New Niger Delta suicide squard has erupt issues 7day ultimatum

Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s threat in a national broadcast to mark his first year in office to crush the upsurge in militancy a new Niger Delta group has emerged. A new militant group known as New Delta Suicide Squad (NDSS) has warned private oil firms.
The group issued ultimatum to owners of tank farms, storage tanks and private jetties to leave the Niger Delta within seven days. NDSS threatened to destroy their oil’s facilities if the owners failed to comply with the deadline. Harry Ebiye, the spokesman of the group, in statement released on May 30, Monday, said: “The New Niger Delta Suicide Squad warns all owners of tank farms, storage tanks and private jetties to quit the region within the next seven days beginning from the date of this publication or risk the destruction of all their facilities from the date of the expiration of this ultimatum. The exploitation of this region by scavengers, economic pirates, and cowboys must come to an end. President Buhari is set to visit Ogoniland, a region in the Niger Delta damaged by years of oil spills, on June 2, Thursday, to launch a clean-up program.
