The Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Buratai
has said the Nigerian Army has defeated the Boko
Haram insurgents, reports DailyTrust. He also
commended the Army for crushing terrorism in the
north east. The army chief spoke over the weekend
while laying the foundation stone for the new
Brigade headquarters complex at the 2 Brigade,
Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He said that the army
will remain vigilant to contend any new strategy
that may be adopted by the terrorists.
